How to install an access database
Access database "installation" is usually straightforward. If your webhost provides a secure location to upload your database, use that folder. Otherwise simply upload the MegaBBS.mdb file to a folder on your website.

Enabling read/write permission
If you receive an error after installing about the database being read-only, it is because the website does not have permission to write to the database. There are a few ways of resolving this issue.

• If your web host provides a file manager, you can often set Read+Write access.
  Set full permission on both the database, and the folder you've uploaded it to.
• If you manage the server or have direct access, use windows explorer to give the website anonymous user (IUSR_???)
  full read+write permission to the database and folder. In your IIS manager, disable read access to this folder

Important security note:
If you can download your database by typing in the URL (ex: http://www.yourdomain.com/database/megabbs.mdb), then your site is not secure! Users could download your entire database. Contact your web host if you are unsure how to restrict this.
